A Bit About Me
Having read an honours degree in Music at the University of Edinburgh, and consequently a Postgraduate Diploma in Education at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland, I have a breadth of experience across musical styles and pedagogies. As an active performer, my industry experience helps underpin my teaching style.

I believe that a strong education in the Western Classical tradition is important when it comes to building good musicianship and a passion for the instrument. Having been a musical director in settings such as Church (organist and choir master of a parish church, and organist of New College Choir at The University of Edinburgh); as well as music directing for the stage (Edinburgh University Footlights), I am able to adapt my teaching style to suit many different applications.
